  • U8 - Year of Birth 2019 - 2020
  • U10 – YOB 2017-2018
  • U12 – YOB: 2015 - 2016
  • Program intended for athletes who already have the skills to ski or ride all terrain, including hiking and expert terrain.

  • GATEWAY - TWST Invitational - included in the Program fee.

    Saturday and Sunday, December  5th and 6th, 2026 - New to TWST Program Day

    This is a mandatory day with your TWST coaches – meet your team mates and  let’s shake out those snowsports legs! Ski or ride one or both days!

  • GATEWAY - Holiday Camp - additional cost for Camps.

    Session 1: Dec. 20, 21, and 22nd 

    Session 2: Dec. 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31st.

  • GATEWAY - Training

    Saturday,  January 2nd through April 3rd  

    Athletes must be High Intermediate skiers, solid Blue run proficiency, or moving up from DEVO.

U8 – U10- Returning athletes

U12 –  New and Returning Athletes

GATEWAY PROGRAM is designed as the pathway to competition with an emphasis on: 

  • Alpine race-gate training 
  • Freeride terrain and skill, Snowboard terrain and Slopestyle
  • Park experience and slopestyle

Athletes in Gateway will be required to attend at least 2 competitions each season.  Examples: the New Mexico Fun Race and the Grassroots Freeride Competition.  

This program will meet every Saturday with an 8:45 am session and then at 12:45 pm for the afternoon session, which ends at 3:30 pm. Lunch, from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm, is not supervised by the staff. 

NOTE: There willbe a Sunday option offered this season bu tmy be canceled due to lack of participation. Please reach out to director@taoswintersportsteam.com for more information.

Athletes in this program are also expected to be physically able and comfortable loading and riding chairlifts without adult assistance or supervision. This program will be a fun, high-quality learning experience, with knowledgeable and skilled staff who are excited to share their passion for the sport.
