IFSA Competition is for Snowboard athletes who wish to compete in Freeride Big Mountain events.

Full-time Athletes will receive coaching:

- Holiday camp
- at events
- for dryland training
- for preseason snow training
Athletes compete in regional events that are a part of the Rocky Mountain Division of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association. Some prior racing experience is helpful but not required. Prior participation in the Gateway Program is recommended. These athletes are expected to possess a level of maturity and mountain awareness that allows the athlete to navigate the mountain without 100% supervision from the coaching staff. This program features our most knowledgeable coaching staff, providing exceptional coaching to every athlete focusing on skills development and competition readiness.
Each athlete will be required to attend 2 regional competitions per season. USASA or IFSA membership will be required to attend competitions and travel to venues.
This program will meet every Saturday and Sunday for Full-Time Saturdays only for DEVO with an 8:45 morning session and then a 12:45 afternoon session. Lunch, 11:45 to 12:45, is not supervised by the staff. Athletes in this program are also expected to be fully physically able and comfortable loading and riding chairlifts without adult assistance or supervision. This program will be a fun, high-quality learning experience, with knowledgeable and skilled staff who are excited to share their passion for the sport.
This program starts the first weekend after Thanksgiving Day and ends the first weekend of April.
